AUSTIN, Texas — Texas Mutual Insurance Company, the state’s leading provider of workers’ compensation insurance, today announced the launch of a Spanish-language safety campaign in partnership with Univision Austin, part of Univision Communications Inc., the leading Hispanic media company in the U.S. In recognition of June as National Safety Month, this campaign aims to provide workplace safety resources to Hispanic business communities across the state.
“Reaching out to the Hispanic business community with the power of Univision is a natural partnership for us,” said Jeremiah Bentley, vice president of marketing and community affairs. “We work hard every day to bring workplace safety resources to the frontlines. With the help of our media partners, we know we can make a difference—a life and limb difference.”
This joint effort between Texas Mutual Insurance Company and Univision Austin is intended to give Texas’ more than 700,000 Hispanic-owned businesses resources and additional information that can help prevent workplace accidents and keep employees safe.
“Univision Austin is proud to partner with Texas Mutual Insurance Company during National Safety Month,” said Christine Escobar, president and general manager of Univision Austin. “We are committed to empowering our community with the resources they need to thrive in an uncertain economy, and this combined, statewide effort with Texas Mutual will allow us to connect with Hispanic business owners all over Texas to encourage them to keep workforce safety top-of-mind. Together, we will work towards making the workplace a safer one for all Hispanics working in Texas.”For more safety resource information, please visit www.texasmutual.com/employers/pr/Univision-june-safety-month.
