Road Closure: 16th St. Drainage Project, March 10th

As the City of McAllen moves forward with the 2018 Bond Group C3 Drainage Improvement Projects, storm infrastructure construction will cause a road closure along 16^thStreet for work to be done at the Redbud Avenue intersection.

16^th Street will be closed to all through traffic between Quamasia Avenue and Shasta Avenue on Friday, March 10, 2023. 

Motorists are urged to find alternate routes during the road closure and exercise extreme caution and patience when traveling along the area.  Motorists should expect some delays and congestion.
