To make sure that City of McAllen employees, as well as other government and private sector employees, are fully aware of potential hazards in the workplace, this Risk & Safety Expo will simulate and highlight various accidents and other situations where safety for employees, the immediate area, including private citizens, is the utmost priority.
“The City of McAllen embraces a Safety Culture within the organization that reflects real commitment to injury prevention and safety at all levels,” said Yolanda Perez, Director of Risk & Safety for the City of McAllen. “Our Safety Culture is a product of individual and group values, attitudes, perceptions and innate patterns of behavior that are valued by our peers and leaders. This expo will further cement that commitment.”
