EDINBURG, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents arrested 10 illegal aliens in two separate residences.
On Monday, Rio Grande Valley Sector agents received information regarding a residence in Brownsville, Texas, suspected of operating as an illegal alien stash house. Upon arrival, agents discovered seven illegal aliens inside. Agents determined the subjects are foreign nationals from the countries of Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras.Â
The following day, the Roma Police Department contacted the Rio Grande City Border Patrol station and requested assistance in performing a welfare check at a home in Roma, Texas, suspected of operating as a stash house. Once on scene, officers and agents entered the residence and discovered three illegal aliens inside. The subjects admitted to being from the countries of Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua.Â
Since October 1, 2020, Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents have discovered and arrested over 350 illegal aliens in nearly 30 human smuggling stash houses.
Border Patrol processed all the subjects accordingly.
