Checkpoint Agents Seize $1.6M Worth of Meth

On Friday afternoon, agents working at the Javier Vega, Jr. Checkpoint referred a pickup to the secondary inspection area after a Border Patrol K-9 alerted to the vehicle. During the inspection, agents discovered several packages of methamphetamine, with a combined weight of over 50 pounds, concealed within the vehicle.
