David Li, a junior at McAllen ISD’s McAllen Memorial High School, placed second in UIL Spelling and Vocabulary at the UIL State Meet May 4. This is the second time he has earned silver in Spelling.
He was the only McAllen ISD student to compete at the Academic UIL State Meet. His coach is Mr. David Moore.
