McAllen, TX- McAllen International CarFest 2017 presented checks to three non-profit organizations (Make-A-Wish Foundation, Teach the Children, and the Antique Automobile Club of America) on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 4:30 PM at the McAllen Convention Center.
The 2017 McAllen International CarFest committee collectively worked hard to promote the event as well as the participation of car enthusiasts from all around Texas as well as the United States. These same committee members have the honor of each selecting a 501c3 (non-profit organization) of their choice to donate a portion of the proceeds to a non-profit near and dear to their heart.
McAllen’s 2017 CarFest was the best yet. Over 300 vehicles were displayed throughout the McAllen Convention Center and parking lots. The largest car show in South Texas showcased over 60 different categories of vehicles ranging from classic and antique to muscle cars, hot rods and race cars to exotics and more. The next McAllen International CarFest will be held Jan 26, 2018 – Jan 28, 2018.
