Maria Perez Joins Telemundo 40 Rio Grande Valley as Weather Anchor

McAllen, Texas – Telemundo 40 Rio Grande Valley / KTLM announced that María Pérez has been named weather anchor for Noticias Telemundo 40 at 11 AM. Pérez’s on-air debut was on August 13th. She joined news anchor Denise Salinas.

“María is a well-known on-air personality in the Rio Grande Valley community, and her ability to deliver crucial meteorological information to our viewers will help our Telemundo 40 Weather Authority team stand from the rest,” said Miguelángel López, News Director of Telemundo 40 Río Grande Valley. “With Maria, our team gets stronger and she will also help us continue with our mission of informing with our viewers about severe weather changes and threats.”

Pérez joins Telemundo 40, after working as a weather anchor for KNVO Univision 48 in the Rio Grande Valley and Fox News of South Texas from 2015 to 2018.
