McAllen, TX – In a heartfelt commitment to giving back, Lone Star National Bank proudly announces our 14th Annual Food Drive, a community-driven initiative aimed at combating hunger in our local communities. Through Friday, November 17th, customers, and community members are encouraged to make a positive impact by participating in this vital campaign.
The annual food drive has become a hallmark of Lone Star National Bank’s commitment to social responsibility, and this year’s event promises to be more impactful than ever. “Our employees look forward to expanding efforts to bless more families during the 2023 holiday season. As we work to get the word out, we are hoping more people will come to us with donations, and we’ll be able to be overflowing with non-perishable food items” said S. David Deanda, Jr.
Non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, and other essentials will make a significant impact. For convenient drop-offs, collection boxes have been set up at all Lone Star National Bank locations throughout south Texas to support the Food Bank of RGV and San Antonio Food Bank.
Lone Star National Bank recognizes the importance of community engagement in addressing the issue of hunger. By actively participating in the food drive, individuals can contribute to a collective effort that goes beyond banking and focuses on making a tangible impact on the lives of those in need.
