RGV Day in Austin provides residents, community and business leaders the opportunity to visit the state capitol and better understand the legislative process.  Join us for a day of events at our State Capitol, which includes resolutions on the senate and house floors, a luncheon with our local legislators at the Sheraton Capitol Hotel, visits with all 181 legislators and an evening wine & hors d’oeuvres reception in the Legislative Conference Center located at the Capitol.

Our participating communities and organizations strive to be the voice for local businesses in the state policy-making process. Our impact is even greater when we join efforts to demonstrate to elected officials that businesses large and small, educators, citizens and community leaders in the Rio Grande Valley care about the issues that impact our organizations, businesses, our cities and our communities.

The RGV delegation leaves from McAllen the morning of Tuesday, February 7, and returns on Wednesday, February 8.  Cost to participate is $100, which covers roundtrip transportation, the luncheon and evening reception.
