And the winner is… Fiesta Chevrolet from Edinburg.
General Motors Incorporated (GM) recently announced that Fiesta Chevrolet is one of the nation’s top 2019 Chevy dealers. The recognition is an award that few have the opportunity to win. It requires a team and hard work with uninterrupted dedication. The goal is to serve customers in a unique way that no one can provide. That is why customers keep coming.
“It’s based on GM’s customer service index, the volume of sales, and how customers are treated,” said Billy Kelley, Fiesta Chevrolet general manager. He continued, “It means that our priority is customer satisfaction and making sure that they are satisfied with their vehicle purchase. It also means that we have the selection and inventory, and the volume of sales. Consequently, we’re able to do much more than the other dealers.”
Bob Vackar, principal for Bert Ogden RGV, said, “I’ve been so proud how our team has managed through this quarantine, they’ve taken safety measures over the top and still did an amazing job pleasing customers.” Also, he said that they are not slowing down. They will continue the effort because there is more to come.
Only a few in the nation receive news that they are no longer just leaders, but they are now Elite Leaders. For Fiesta Chevrolet, it is an honor to be recognized based on index results because it is the works of dozens of team members that give it all to make it happen.
Kelley pointed out that there are approximately 3,100 dealerships in the nation, out of which 200 were selected. Fiesta Chevrolet in Edinburg is the only Chevy dealership recognized in South Texas.
Natasha Del Barrio, CEO of the Bert Ogden Rio Grande Valley, said, “This is a significant award for the auto group. To know that our customers are completing surveys and submitting them to General Motors Inc., it’s of great satisfaction.”
She pointed out that “The Elite Leaders Award” is presented only to those dealerships that exhibit extraordinary sales and customer satisfaction excellence.
“I’m very excited for our staff,” Kelley said. “Our staff has worked tirelessly, and they’ve done a great job placing the Rio Grande Valley on the national stage.”
Janet Vackar, also a principal of the company, said, “Congratulations, Great Team! We are blessed. Billy and his team are awesome! Great job!”
For a dealer to be considered for this award, the dealership must have achieved a year-over-year sales increase and excellent reviews from customer satisfaction surveys for vehicle purchases and service department visits. “The Elite Leaders Award” is the result of the hard work of our staff which shows in this national recognition,” he finalized.
