The latest success story to emerge from this initiative is that of Juan Zambrano, Jr. “Güero,” as his family and close friends call him., a student now on his path to pursuing a legal career at The University of Oklahoma College of Law at Norman, Oklahoma.

In early August 2024, Zambrano took to social media to share a personal celebration: “We celebrated Güero’s going away party to law school in Norman, Oklahoma! On behalf of the Zambrano Law Firm and the Zambrano Family, we wish Güero many blessings as he begins law school.” When asked by Texas Border Business who “Güero” was, Zambrano warmly responded, “Güero is my nephew, Juan R. Zambrano Jr., my oldest brother’s son. He will attend The University of Oklahoma College of Law in Norman, Oklahoma! We are proud of his accomplishments and know many more success stories will come!”
Further elaborating on his nephew’s journey, Zambrano shared, “He is 22. Yes, he started at OU Law this year.” The pride in his voice was unmistakable, reflecting not just the family’s joy but also the success of the Legal Eagles Pipeline Program in guiding students toward their dreams.
