McAllen, TX (February 16, 2016) – The second in a series of hospitality seminars, made possible by a partnership between the City of McAllen, McAllen Chamber of Commerce, McAllen EDC and South Texas College Continuing Education, will target McAllen’s retail industry. The Customer Service Seminar will take place on Wednesday, February 24, at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A registration fee of $20 is required.

After a successful Customer Service Seminar was held last June for McAllen’s restaurant and hotel hospitality employees, it was determined the next important segment of frontline employees was in the retail sector. Participants who complete the seminar will earn a Customer Service Certificate endorsed by all involved partners.

Dr. Edward Dramberger, an international speaker and expert in hospitality & tourism sales & marketing, will conduct this second Customer Service Seminar. In addition to his 30 year proven track record in the industry, Dr. Dramberger has executed sales & marketing seminars to tourism organizations & destinations throughout the world.

“Dr. Dramberger did a fantastic job during our first seminar, so we are of course honored that he will return for this second round of instruction,” said Aguirre.  “We hope every participant will leave with new knowledge that will enhance their skill level and also improve their overall work experience. An improved workforce culture benefits everyone in our region.”
