HARLINGEN, Texas — The Harlingen Economic Development Corporation (HEDC) is proud to announce the return of Let’s Get Down to Business, a one-stop resource event for aspiring and established business owners, commercial real estate brokers, and investors looking to launch or expand business enterprises in Harlingen.
Designed as a casual, come-and-go event, Let’s Get Down to Business grants attendees the opportunity to connect with key city departments and organizations. Participants will include Planning and Zoning, Building Inspections, Fire Prevention, and the Greater Chamber of Harlingen, to provide firsthand guidance on permits, regulations, and business development resources. Attendees will also find information on licensing, small business loans, workforce solutions, and more.
“This event makes the process of starting a business clearer and more accessible by bringing all the necessary resources together in one place,” said Orlando Campos, CEO of the HEDC. “We want to equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge and support they need to feel confident that they will succeed here.”
Set for March 29, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Harlingen Convention Center, the event will offer a casual, flexible setting where attendees can explore at their own pace and find tailored support to meet their specific business needs.
“It’s all about making connections and breaking down barriers,” said Campos. “By providing direct access to experts, we’re helping lay the foundation for a stronger local economy and reinforcing that Harlingen is business-friendly and open for business.”
