Harlingen CISD to host Border Patrol “Head of the Class” Awards Ceremony

HARLINGEN, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol will be holding this school year’s fourth “Head of the Class” ceremony to honor high school seniors who demonstrate exemplary character and determination to succeed. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Art Cavazos who is the Superintendent at the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District. He will be speaking at 10:25 a.m. Dr. Art Cavazos is a nationally recognized leader with over 30 years of experience in education. The event will feature the announcement of a new award for school educators.

Please join us as we recognize these high-achieving scholars and leaders of tomorrow from San Benito ISD, Brownsville ISD, Raymondville ISD, Harlingen CISD, Port Isabel ISD, Rio Hondo ISD, Los Fresnos ISD, and San Perlita ISD.
