PHARR, Texas – The City of Pharr, in collaboration with the Pharr Fire Department, invites the community to participate in this year’s Fire Prevention Month community event, focusing on the theme, “Smoke Alarms: Make Them Work for You!”
These free event will take place October 17, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Downtown Park (200 S. Cage Blvd, Pharr, TX).
The event will feature fire safety messages, along with special appearances by Sparky the Fire Dog. Families can enjoy food from local vendors, participate in fun games, and have the chance to win exciting prizes.
The Pharr Fire Department is committed to educating the public about fire safety and ensuring that every household is equipped with working smoke alarms.
This is a family-friendly event designed to raise awareness about fire prevention and safety. The Pharr Fire Department encourages all residents to attend and take advantage of the opportunity to meet their firefighters and learn how to keep their homes safe.
