Pharr, Texas – As part of PSJA ISD’s 2018 Summer Meals Program, thousands of youth 18 years old and younger will be able to receive free breakfast and lunch meals at more than 70 school and community sites throughout the summer.
The Summer Meals Program, in partnership with the Texas Department of Agricultural Commission (TDA), ensures all children have a healthy breakfast and lunch during the summer months when most are out of school. Currently, meals are available at most PSJA elementary, middle school and high schools that host summer school programs and additional locations throughout the community.
PSJA ISD is also offering “Meals on the Go” by having two school buses deliver lunch and supper meals to about 15 community locations daily.
Area residents can select to attend a location near them by visiting the PSJA Child Nutrition Dept. web calendar at www.psjaisd.us/kidsmeals. You can also call 956-784-8545 or 211.
