EDINBURG, Texas — The City of Edinburg and the Edinburg Economic Development Corporation announced today that H-E-B will build its third store in Edinburg at the corner of Trenton Road and I/69C, one of the city’s busiest corridors. Plans and design for the store have not yet been finalized.
We are proud to have H-E-B join the bustling Shoppes at Rio Grande Valley and the proposed events arena in an area that has quickly become one of the most popular intersections in the Rio Grande Valley with more than 99,000 vehicles per day.
“H-E-B has an 85-year history with the Rio Grande Valley, and we continually look for ways to better serve our customers,” said Linda Tovar, H-E-B Public Affairs Manager. “We look forward to further sharing our plans with the community as soon as more information becomes available.”
H-E-B operates more than 350 stores in Texas and Mexico and employs more than 80,000 people.
