EDINBURG, Texas – The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for its prestigious 2026 Man & Woman of the Year Awards, recognizing individuals whose professional achievements, civic involvement, and commitment to the Edinburg community have made a lasting impact.

Presented annually, the awards honor individuals who have demonstrated outstanding professional and civic commitment and who have gone above and beyond by giving their time, talents, and resources to benefit the community and its residents.

“Every year, we are fortunate to witness individuals who dedicate themselves to making Edinburg a stronger and better place to live, work and do business,” said Ronnie Larralde, Executive Director of the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce. “The Man & Woman of the Year Awards provide an opportunity for our community to recognize and celebrate these exceptional leaders and their contributions.”

The award recipients will be recognized during the Chamber’s Annual Installation & Awards Banquet on Saturday, November 7, 2026, featuring this year’s theme, “An Evening in Color.” The event will celebrate the accomplishments of the Chamber and the Edinburg business community throughout the year while recognizing outstanding community leaders.

The evening will also mark the transition of leadership for the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. The Chamber will honor Nick Cantu, Immediate Past President, for his service and leadership and welcome Ruby Casas as the incoming President of the Board.

Community members are encouraged to nominate a deserving individual who exemplifies the spirit of service, leadership and commitment to Edinburg.
