The event will be held on May 11, 2023, at the Laredo Country Club and will honor exceptional business leaders who have made significant contributions to the City of Laredo through innovation, leadership, and community service.

Marilyn de Llano
De Llano is a mental health advocate and art enthusiast who spearheaded a mural at the Border Region Behavioral Health Center in 2018 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Shira De Llano Art Program
Armando Hinojosa
Hinojosa is a professional artist and sculptor with over 55 years of experience. He graduated from Texas A&I University in Kingsville where he received a fine arts degree. Hinojosa’s work can be found in banks, schools, universities, cemeteries, courthouses, churches, airports, SeaWorld of Texas, hospitals, and Boy Scouts of America Camps and offices.
Donato D. Ramos
Ramos is an attorney, a volunteer coach, a veteran, and a family and community man. His trial experience is in civil and oil and gas. As a member of the Laredo business community, we are honored to support Junior Achievement of Laredo’s efforts in recognizing these remarkable business leaders. On behalf of the Killam family, we extend our congratulations to all the honorees, especially our friend Donato D. Ramos, for their contributions to Laredo’s continued prosperity.
For 28 years, the Laredo Business Hall of Fame has recognized outstanding achievements in Laredo’s business community and has inspired the next generation of leaders through economic education programs. All proceeds from the event will support Junior Achievement of Laredo’s efforts to provide experiential learning opportunities to over 7,500 students each year with the help of over 250 community volunteers.
