According to Brandon Judd, the President of the National Border Patrol Council, in a statement to the New York Post, the Biden administration is allegedly employing tactics to lower the visible number of migrants at the southern border, suggesting a strategy to make the border situation appear less chaotic. Judd accused the administration of “flying migrants into the United States so that the border doesn’t look as out of control,” describing this move as a deceptive practice. He elaborated that the government is bypassing traditional border entries by using airports to maintain the perception of reduced border crossings, with a goal to project the figures at approximately 5,000 crossings per day.
