Additional $38.4 Million In Funding For Operation Lone Star
AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott announced that his Public Safety Office (PSO) will award an additional $38.4 million for law enforcement, jail operations, and court administration activities in direct support of Operation Lone Star (OLS). The Governor's PSO has awarded $74.8 million in OLS funds to cities and counties in proximity to the Texas-Mexico border since the operation was launched in March 2021.

I love McAllen was able to join with Andrew Jackson Elementary and 7 sponsors adopted 11 families for the holidays. All families received gifts for all the children in the family and also each family received a complete holiday dinner. Also, Bajo Zero cool & hearing solutions sponsored Jackson elementary basketball team with basketballs and mesh bags for the entire team. The grinch was there as well.
