Appointment Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Jaime Tijerina to the 464th Judicial District Court for a term set to expire on December 31, 2020, or until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified.

New Dog Park in Mission

City of Mission Leaders celebrated one of two new dog parks January 19, 2019, with a “Leash Cutting” Ceremony at the Bannworth Park on 1822 N. Shary Road. The City of Mission’s two new two-acre playgrounds where Mission’s four-legged friends and citizens can socialize and exercise while surrounded by gardens of butterflies and numerous shade trees.
