SIOR is a Washington, DC-based international professional organization of more than 3,200 commercial real estate professionals whom have earned the coveted SIOR designation.
SIORs are market specialists in the highly specialized field of Industrial and Office real estate. Arriaga’s primary target area of work is on the US/Mexico Border that includes South Texas and Northern Mexico from Laredo to Brownsville.
Individuals who hold the SIOR designation are top producers in the commercial real estate field and are represented in more than 685 cities in 36 countries around the world. Mr. Arriaga also holds the internationally acclaimed CCIM designation since 2002, and CPM designation since 2013. Certified Property Managers, CPMs, are recognized experts in property management worldwide.
Arriaga is also a certified Property Tax Consultant and assists both commercial and residential property owners lower their property taxes.
He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Master’s Degree in Land Economics and Real Estate and the President-Elect of McAllen Association of Realtors.
Currently serving on Governmental Affairs, TREPAC, Budget and Finance and Professional Standards Committees. He also serves on the Commercial Committee for Texas Association of Realtors and the Research Committee for the National Association of Realtors.
In his local community, Arriaga is a member of the McAllen Chamber of Commerce, McAllen International Museum, and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He has served as member of McAllen North Rotary Club, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, and Youth Baseball Coach for McAllen Boys and Girls Club.
Arriaga is married to Monica Martinez and has 2 children, Madeline and Adrian, Jr.
