All candidates for Justices & Chief Justice of the 13th Court of Appeals have been invited to participate in the McAllen Citizens League’s Political Forum on Thursday, October 25th at noon. The meeting will be at the Salvation Army Center on 23rd Street and Pecan in McAllen.
The candidates include Nora Longoria & Greg Perkes for Place 2, Jaime Tijerina & Rudy Delgado for Place 4, Gina Benavides & Clarissa Silva for Place 5. For Chief Justice, the candidates are Ernest Aliseda and Dori Contreras. “This will be a very important forum”, said Christopher Julian, President of the League.
The meeting is open to the public with lunch available for $12 for members and $15 for non-members. Membership in the League is only $10 per year. For more information on the League go to www.McAllenCitizensLeague.org.
