This year’s marathon is co-sponsored by the Zambrano Law Firm, led by attorney Jesus “Jesse” Zambrano. A graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, Zambrano established his firm to assist injured victims throughout Texas. Beyond his legal practice, he is deeply committed to community service, having served on the PSJA School Board and founded the Legal Eagles Pipeline Program to mentor aspiring legal professionals in the Rio Grande Valley.

The marathon route will showcase McAllen’s premier areas and attractions, allowing participants to experience the city’s vibrant culture. As a USATF-certified course, it will enable runners to qualify for the Boston Marathon or achieve personal bests. The event includes various race options to accommodate all skill levels, such as a full marathon (26.2 miles), half marathon (13.1 miles), 10K, 5K, six-person full marathon relay, and the McAllen Kids Marathon Final Mile.

Registration is currently open, and all running enthusiasts are encouraged to participate in this event that promotes health and fitness and honors the legacy of a beloved community leader.
