Last week the Pharr Community Theater had four full houses at their intimate, black box theater for the comedy play, The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit, written by Ray Bradbury and directed by UTRGV graduate Armando Gonzalez. In the story 6 young men from the same neighborhood form a bond by sharing a beautiful white suit that almost seems magical. The one-act play runs again from April 21-24. Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 3:00 pm. Tickets are only $7 general admission or $5 senior citizens, active military or students and can be purchased at the door, upon availability starting one hour before each performance, or online at brownpapertickets.com. The theater is located at 213 W Newcombe Ave, Pharr, TX. Seating is limited to 50 person per show. The play is suitable for all ages. For more information please call 956-600-9463.
