The Women’s Council of Realtors McAllen Network has honored Edwards Abstract and Title Co. as the 2020 Strategic Partner of the Year. The title insurance company has supported the organization for over two decades. During 2020, Edwards chose to invest in WCR as a Diamond Sponsor, the highest level of support. Alma Paek, President of the Women’s Council of Realtors, made the presentation during the Annual Installation Banquet held recently. “The nominating committee voted to award Edwards Abstract & Title Co. the 2020 Strategic Partner of the Year award for their continued support of the Women’s Council of Realtors McAllen Network. Elva Jackson Garza, Vice President/Marketing Manager of Edwards Abstract served as the 2020 Membership Director. In her capacity, she not only reached out to current and new members but she continually encouraged future members. Elva also embraced our unofficial motto-teamwork! She was quick to offer a helping hand where needed and kept a positive attitude throughout the year. Edwards Abstract & Title Co. is also in a position to offer the Women’s Council with resources such as continuing education courses, that we were able to pass along to our Members. The company generously opened their doors for the Women’s Council when in need of a venue. Elva also helped to secure other Strategic Partners for the Women’s Council.
