Texas Border Business
June 19 is Father’s Day. Because of this, Texas Border Business had a conversation with Adrian Villarreal, the President and CEO of one of the leading banks in Rio Grande Valley. He oversees 29 branches in Hidalgo County. Aside from leading this banking institution, he manages the planning of different fundraising events that connect the bank with the community.
Today, we know there is a big difference in how fathers interact with the family. During the past several decades, the involvement of fathers has increased dramatically.
In his case, Villarreal has found joy, satisfaction, and rewarding moments watching his children grow. His participation as a father is to guide them through different aspects and decisions of their lives.
Fathers with a family and demanding career sometimes face conflicts between family space and work. Villarreal said that his biggest supporter is his wife, Lupita Villarreal.
