WESLACO – Hidalgo County Precinct 1, in collaboration with the City of Weslaco, Weslaco ISD Transportation, and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), announce the closure of a bridge located on N. Bridge Ave., north of Sugar Cane Dr.
This closure is a precautionary measure taken due to safety concerns and will remain in effect until further notice. Residents are urged to seek alternate routes and plan accordingly to avoid any delays in their travel.
“We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate the community’s understanding as we prioritize safety above all else,” said Hidalgo County Precinct 1 Commissioner David L. Fuentes. “We are committed to ensuring the well-being of our residents and will provide updates as they become available. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.”
