The Weslaco Chamber of Commerce will host a Welcome Mixer for new Chamber President/CEO Barbara Jean Garza on Thursday, April 11. Sponsored and hosted by Plains Capital Bank in Weslaco, the mixer will give members of the business community a chance to meet Garza, who was hired in March. A Weslaco native, Garza comes to the Weslaco Chamber from UTRGV, where she was Director of P-16 Outreach. Plains Capital Bank is located at 911 W. Expressway 83.
