EDINBURG, Texas (Wed., May 27, 2020) – Juan Chavez and Rio Grande Valley FC defeat Greenville Triumph SC, as Poland, in the USL eCup: Week 4 Quarterfinals with a 3-1 win.
Brazil struck first in the 4th minute with a shot but was sent to the right side of the goal. In the 11th minute Poland attacked as the keeper went out, but the shot was kicked out to the left side. In the 15th minute Brazil earned the lead after a left footed shot from Santeiro where it curved to the right post to the back of the net, 1-0.
After a center pass from Neymar Jr. to the inside the box, Boas Santos finished with a header to the right side of the goal earning a 2-0 lead in the 32nd minute.
In the second half, Poland threatened the goal in the 49th minute with a tough shot but the keeper blocked out to corner. In the 73rd minute Santeiro received a through ball sending a strike to the back of the net earning a third goal for Brazil, 3-0.
Four minutes later Brazil attacked again but the shot was sent too high. Before the final whistle Poland sent a shot to the back of the net earning a lone goal from Lewandowski, 3-1.
