Valley Grande Institute’s expansion to Raymondville is now bringing new vocational medical educational programs to Willacy County. It began with a Medical Clinical Healthcare Technician Program which started in July of 2015.
Valley Grande Institute for Academic Studies (VGI), in partnership with the City of Raymondville and the Raymondville Economic Development Council, have expanded to bring VGI’s high-quality vocational medical education to downtown Raymondville at a new campus as of July 2015.
Classes began with a 9-month Medical Clinical Healthcare Technician program at Valley Grande Institute’s new Raymondville campus from 9 am to 3 pm, from Monday through Thursday.
VGI students and alumni receive immediate job placement services and get hands on training and experience in professional communication and interview skills. In as little as 9 months, a student with a high school or GED education can begin a professional career with high demand and opportunities for advancement.
Individual attention, tutoring, and test preparation tools are provided to VGI students to help them succeed in a supportive learning environment focused on skill mastery and job placement.
