  • Individual mentoring.
  • Attendance to a statewide leadership conference.
  • Completion of a group leadership community project.

“Undergraduate women who will graduate after fall 2019 are selected for this mentoring program,” said Dr. Bruce Reed, professor, and director of rehabilitation services and counseling at UTRGV. “They will develop their own leadership skills through training and will have individual interactions with a high achieving mentor. They also get an all-expenses-paid trip to a women’s leadership conference in Austin.

“The knowledge and contacts they’ll make in this program will benefit each participant in the long term as their careers develop,” he said.

To apply for the program, visit the rehabilitation services office on the Edinburg Campus at EHABW W1.266, or contact Paola Rivas at mailto:paola.rivas01@utrgv.edu for an electronic application.
