McALLEN, TEXAS – OCT. 12, 2016 – UTRGV’s Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship is partnering with Inter National Bank on an innovative executive/student mentorship program called the Great Conversations Mentorship Program.
The program offers a new approach to preparing today’s students for life and a career after college.
Top business students from the Vackar College will meet their executive mentors for the first time at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Inter National Bank Headquarters at 1801 S. 2nd St. in McAllen.
Mentors and mentees will participate in a series of discussions over the next six months, on topics that include building your professional network, the importance of getting things done, and personal mission statements.
Inter National Bank executives, including President / Chief Executive Officer Sam Munafo, will provide real-world insight and guidance to UTRGV students. Students, mentors and program organizers will be available for interviews at Thursday’s event.
