RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Saturday that 46 student-athletes graduated on Saturday at the virtual Spring Semester Commencement Ceremony.

“It is always a proud day when a student earns a diploma and we are thrilled for these student-athletes,” UTRGV Vice President and Director of Athletics Chasse Conque said. “This year takes on an added significance because of the way our student-athletes rallied academically while dealing with the adversity caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. These young men and women have also been, and will no doubt continue to be, great ambassadors for the university in the community. They all have bright futures ahead of them. We congratulate them and are excited to now call them alumni!”
