RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is excited to start the new year with the launch of its new mobile app, allowing fans to experience game day in a whole new way. The new GoUTRGV app, powered by From Now On, is now available for download free from the App Store and Google Play.
The app serves as a one-stop-shop to purchase tickets and merchandise, access lives scores and stats, schedules, rosters, bios, news, social media feed, broadcasts, venue maps and fan guides, and more.
Fans have the opportunity to opt-in to rewards and earn loyalty points that can be redeemed for cool prizes by attending home games. Prizes can include but are not limited to, car decals, water bottles, stickers, koozies, sunglasses, bandanas, drawstring bags, soccer scarves, and Adidas merchandise.
The app experience is customizable, as fans are able to set up how they’re affiliated with the Vaqueros and for what sports they want to receive notifications.
“The GoUTRGV app is a great way both to engage our students and fans and enhance their game-day experience,” UTRGV Vice President and Director of Athletics Chasse Conque said. “This is another step in our mission to rally the Valley around UTRGV Athletics.”
