RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is excited to enter into a significant four-year partnership with Texas Regional Bank.

The Texas Regional Bank brand is present at all home UTRGV athletic events as well as select promotional materials, giving UTRGV fans the opportunity to interact with and learn more about Texas Regional Bank’s services. Texas Regional Bank also provides UTRGV student-athletes with the opportunity to learn more about financial literacy through personalized programming.

“We’ve been with UTRGV Athletics almost since day one. It’s been about 10 years that we’ve been partners with UTRGV,” said Texas Regional Bank Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer Jason Leal, a UTRGV legacy alum (UT Brownsville class of 1996) who is currently the Chairman of the UTRGV Foundation Board. “What Chasse has done since coming on board last year makes UTRGV Athletics something we want to continue to be a part of. Like Texas Regional, they’ve grown and gained recognition and we want to continue to be a part of that.”
