RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, in conjunction with The Herd, announced on Monday plans for watch parties at Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux at 415 W Trenton Rd. in Edinburg for the Hercules Tires WAC Basketball Tournament presented by TicketSmarter.
The first watch party is set for Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. as fourth-seeded women’s basketball faces fifth-seeded New Mexico State in the quarterfinals.
The second watch party is on Thursday at 8 p.m. as second-seeded men’s basketball faces seventh-seeded CSU Bakersfield in the quarterfinals.
Should the women’s basketball team win, the semifinal watch party is set for 2 p.m. on Friday while the championship is at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Should the men’s basketball team win, the semifinal watch party is set for 10:30 p.m. on Friday while the championship is at 9 p.m. on Saturday.
