U.S. Army Veteran Antonio Garcia led the Pledge of Allegiance at today’s Commissioners Court.

Cpl. Garcia served in the Korean War in the United States Army from March 14, 1951, to December 13, 1952.

He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal with two Bronze Service Stars, the United Nations Service Medal, and the Army Commendation Ribbon.

Garcia is retired from the United States Postal Service after serving the McAllen and Pharr area for 35 years.
