HARLINGEN & BROWNSVILLE – Agents from area U.S. Customs & Border Protection stations, accompanied by local law enforcement departments, will celebrate all healthcare heroes with processions of gratitude at both Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen and Valley Baptist-Brownsville.
The processions are scheduled for Wednesday, May 6 between 8:45 and 9 a.m. at Valley Baptist-Harlingen, and 9:45 and 10:10 a.m. at Valley Baptist-Brownsville. In Harlingen, the procession will drive by Valley Baptist-Harlingen on Pease Street with emergency lights flashing. The procession in Brownsville will follow West Jefferson Street past Valley Baptist-Brownsville.
In addition to honoring all healthcare heroes, the processions will also serve as a kick-off to National Nurses Week (May 6-12).
