WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has announced its endorsement of Senator Ted Cruz for re-election to the U.S. Senate, representing Texas. The Chamber endorses candidates who advocate for free enterprise by promoting policies that stimulate economic growth, create jobs, and empower businesses of all sizes to innovate and invest in the American economy.
Neil Bradley, U.S. Chamber Executive Vice President and Chief Policy Officer, will accompany Senator Cruz at events in Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Houston to express the Chamber’s strong support for his dedication to economic growth and support for America’s entrepreneurs and businesses. “As a leader in the U.S. Senate, Ted Cruz has consistently championed pro-growth policies that enable Texas businesses, individuals, and families to realize the American dream,” Bradley stated. “Senator Cruz has a proven record of supporting policies that reduce taxes, curb regulatory overreach, enhance domestic energy production, modernize infrastructure, and promote trade while safeguarding American jobs. The U.S. Chamber is proud to support Senator Cruz in his re-election bid, and we look forward to his continued efforts in strengthening Texas job creators, boosting the U.S. economy, and securing a brighter future for our nation.”
Senator Cruz expressed his gratitude for the endorsement: “I am honored to receive the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and its extensive membership in Texas. Since arriving in Washington, my top priority has been advocating for jobs. Every day in the Senate, I work to promote pro-growth policies that create well-paying jobs here in the Lone Star State.” He added, “The businesses and local Chambers that make up the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are at the forefront of American innovation, and their significant investments in our Texas economy have helped maintain our state’s position as a top business climate nationally. I am proud of my efforts in the U.S. Senate to advocate for legislation that supports free markets, limits government intervention, and fosters economic development. I will continue to fight daily to preserve and grow Texas’s thriving ‘Main Street’ businesses.”
