SAN BENITO- Local TxDOT crews are actively preparing for the potential development of a broad area of low pressure in the Gulf, that could bring heavy rain. Employees have been notified, and precautionary measures are underway to ensure readiness.

  • Crews are inspecting and clearing inlets along state highways of any debris that may impede drainage.
  • Trailers are being loaded with signs and sandbags in the event of road flooding.
