ALAMO – PSJA Memorial Early College High School Seniors Victoria Mae Maldonado and Kristy Alanis signed a letter of intent to play softball with Texas A&M International University in Laredo, Friday, Dec. 7 in front of their family, coaches and friends.

PSJA Memorial Early College High School Seniors Victoria Mae Maldonado and Kristy Alanis signed a letter of intent to play softball with Texas A&M International University in Laredo

Victoria was 1st Team All-District Catcher in 2016 and the recipient of the PSJA Memorial Golden Glove Award that same year, which she also received in 2017. This year, she was awarded the PSJA Memorial Wendy Heisman trophy.

Kristy was also 1st Team All-District and 2nd Team All-Valley in 2016. That same year she received the PSJA Memorial Golden Glove Award. In 2017, she was the 31-6A Offensive MVP, 2nd Team All-Valley and school MVP, which she received again this year, as well as 31-6A Defensive MVP and 2nd Team All-Valley Honors.
