PHARR – PSJA North Early College High School Seniors, Richard Hernandez and Roxxy Garcia, were recently named recipients of the prestigious Terry Scholarship. They will each receive scholarships of up to $20,000 to complete their post-secondary education for up to eight semesters.

The Terry Foundation is a Houston-based scholarship program founded to provide scholarships to outstanding Texas high school graduates and transfer scholars for attendance at public colleges and universities within the state. Students are selected based on three criteria: academic excellence, leadership potential and financial need.

In addition to graduating from high school, both seniors will be graduating with Associate Degrees from South Texas College (STC) two weeks before receiving their high school diploma in May.
