McALLEN, Texas – Two suspects have been arrested for kidnapping two minor children and taking them to Mexico.
If convicted, they face up to three years in federal prison and a possible $250,000 maximum fine.
FBI conducted the investigation with the assistance of Legat Mexico City, Monterrey Sub-office and San Juan Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Alexa D. Parcell is prosecuting the case.
An indictment is a formal accusation of criminal conduct, not evidence. A defendant is presumed innocent unless convicted through due process of law.
