RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) announced on Friday that 26 student-athletes at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley competing in the fall sports of men’s and women’s cross country and soccer, as well as volleyball, are Fall Academic All-WAC honorees.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year at the institution, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team’s contests.
A total of 290 fall student-athletes competing in the aforementioned sports were named to the list.
