The announcement marks a significant step forward as the company scales its content delivery network (CDN).
Over the past six months, the development focused on compatibility testing across Web and iOS platforms, setting the stage for a phased introduction of the streaming service. TMTG has outlined a three-phase rollout plan for its streaming content:
Phase 1: Implement Truth Social’s CDN to stream live TV directly within the Truth Social app across Android, iOS, and Web interfaces.
Phase 2: Launch standalone over-the-top (OTT) streaming apps for various mobile devices and tablets.
Phase 3: Introduction of Truth Social streaming apps tailored for home television setups.
The streaming service is set to offer a rich variety of live TV programming, spanning news networks, religious broadcasts, and a wide range of family-oriented films and documentaries. Moreover, the platform will cater to content that has been discontinued, faces cancellation threats, or experiences suppression on other streaming services, ensuring a truly diverse and inclusive content library.
