Sarasota, Fla. – As announced through a press released on TRUTH, the Trump Media & Technology Group (Nasdaq: DJT), the company behind the Truth Social platform, announced today the successful launch of its linear TV streaming service on iOS devices. This latest development allows users of Apple devices to access streaming content directly through the existing Truth Social app.

To begin streaming, iOS users must update their Truth Social app via the Apple App Store unless automatic updates are enabled. Once updated, users can access the new feature by clicking on the Truth+ streaming icon shaped like a TV. The streaming service offers two viewing options: as stand-alone channels or in a picture-in-picture (PiP) mode, allowing users to continue scrolling through the Truth Social platform while watching content.

This launch marks a significant milestone in the rollout of TMTG’s streaming platform, Truth+. According to TMTG CEO Devin Nunes, the service is now available across all major platforms, including iOS, Android, and the web. The service is powered by TMTG’s custom-built content delivery network (CDN), which Nunes described as “uncancellable,” delivering high-quality streaming to all users.

TMTG plans to introduce additional streaming apps integrated with the Truth Social platform. These forthcoming apps will feature an interactive 14-day electronic guide, instant catch-up TV for shows broadcast in the previous seven days, network DVR, video on demand, and subscription video on demand. The company also develops apps that enable streaming of in-home TV sets and plans to introduce new advertising capabilities.

As part of its broader strategy, TMTG aims to expand its streaming options, focusing on news, Christian content, and family-friendly programming. The company will continue to stress-test and beta-test the streaming technology, collecting user feedback to refine the service. TMTG has also indicated that it is working towards finalizing a perpetual licensing deal for its CDN technology, further solidifying its control over the streaming delivery infrastructure.

The launch of streaming on iOS devices is a key component of TMTG’s phased rollout of Truth+, positioning the company as a significant player in the digital streaming market.
