McALLEN, Texas – Texas Regional Bank (TRB) has announced plans to renovate its McAllen Main banking center, located at 1801 S. McColl Road. Construction began earlier this month and is expected to be completed by mid-year 2026.
The renovation reflects TRB’s continued effort to update key locations across its footprint, bringing the bank’s signature architectural style and customer experience to the communities it serves. Guided by the project vision, “Updating today for your tomorrow,” the McAllen Main renovation is designed to support evolving customer needs and position the branch for long-term service in the market.
The McAllen Main location has served the community for many years. As business activity and service demands have grown, updates to the building’s exterior façade and interior layout have become necessary to sustain the high level of service TRB provides. Planned improvements include upgrades to critical infrastructure, enhanced workflow and
accessibility across customer and operational areas, and a refreshed look and feel, creating a space that is both welcoming and efficient.
The banking center will remain open during normal business hours throughout construction, with measures in place to minimize disruption for both customers and employees while maintaining continuity of service.
